Elliott Connie and Dr Adam Froerer have written a new book called “The Solution Focused Diamond” published by Hay House in 2023. The Solution Focused Diamond is a guide to understand the steps of conducting a Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) session.
In this 2 part webinar I will be interviewing the two authors separately to discuss the main tenets of the book. In part one, I will interview Elliott Connie and discuss the Solution Focused stance and more particularly what they call the SFBT diamond stance. We will also talk about the art of asking questions and the focus of a session being outcome led. In part 2 I will interview Dr Adam Froerer and discuss the structure of a SFBT session and how a session is always focused on a desired outcome. SFBT is a difference-led approach and Dr Adam Froerer will share with us what this means and how we apply this in a session.
