Interview with: Elliott Connie (USA) on trauma
People are amazing and are getting through the trauma of Covid-19. This Webinar focuses on managing trauma with hope, optimism and courage. In this webinar Elliott will discuss the need to work and treat people and not to understand and unpack what has happened.
Elliott Connie wrote the first chapter in our book “Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Clients Managing Trauma” and he will describe how doing hope is absolutely paramount to the Solution Focused approach. As we face the Corona virus and adapt and adjust it is important to focus on the resilience of our clients and we need to become resilientologists and not victimologists.
This webinar will stress that working with people that are managing some form of trauma after Covid-19, is all about recovery, hope and gratitude.
Aims of the Webinar:
- Identify the essential of hope
- Recognize the value of resilience
- Create a desired future with the client that is managing trauma
- Empower clients to manage and thrive despite trauma
- Become a resilientologist instead of a victimologist
Outcomes of the Webinar:
On completion of the webinar the participants will be able to:
- Do hope, ignite hope and celebrate hope
- Re-brief resilience
