Webinar Outline:
I don’t know about you, but I often get a little stuck in therapy. Sometimes I feel as if I need to spice things up a little in the session or create an experience to shift the energy. Jenny Clarke edited a fabulous book called “57 SF activities – putting Solutions into action” that gives us all fantastic ideas on how to turn a Solution Focused question into an activity. Jenny is one of the funniest, kindest and active SF practitioners I know and in this webinar, I will be interviewing her on her ideas on how to turn a question into an activity. In this webinar we will look at a few different SF activities, we will play out a few activities and we will build your confidence to design your own SF activities. During this webinar we will be discussing SF activities that find resources and strengths, activities that develop a preferred future, activities that spot progress and activities that invite new learning.
Aims of the workshop:
- To have fun
- To learn how to turn a question into an activity
- To learn new resource activation activities
- To learn new goal orientated activities
- To do activities that measure progress
- To create interaction
Outcomes of the workshop:
On completion of the workshop the participants will be able to:
- Start thinking creatively about ways to pose questions
- Create interaction between client and therapist
- Allow the client to experience therapy differently
- Utilize different SF activities
